What we collect
For catalog updates, we collect your email address, optional builder type, consent record and timestamps. A component request can include a model, manufacturer, notes and an optional email address. We do not create customer accounts or collect passwords, payment cards, mailing addresses or uploads.
How we use it
Subscription data is used for product updates and testing invitations. Component requests are used to prioritize research and, when an email is supplied, follow up about that request. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and protection
Records are stored with our hosting and database provider using encrypted connections and managed storage. Administrative access is restricted to an owner allowlist. Submission endpoints use field validation, payload limits, bot traps and rate limits. No internet service can promise zero risk, so we deliberately limit what we retain.
Retention and deletion
We retain an active subscription until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Every signup receives a private preference link. Unsubscribed addresses may remain as a suppression record so we do not contact them again. Component requests are retained while useful to the research queue.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting and database infrastructure. No marketing-email provider is connected at this time. This policy will identify any provider before marketing messages are sent through it.
